Short version: we collect almost nothing, mostly because we have not built anything that collects things. The long version is also short.
What we collect
- No forms, no accounts, no email list. There is currently no signup form, comment form, or contact form on this site.
- No analytics yet. We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this page first.
- Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider and its security service may log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to keep the site running and block attacks.
- Email. If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply, and that is it.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some links go to Amazon and other retailers through affiliate programs. When you click one, that retailer may set cookies in your browser so it can tell the sale came from us. Those cookies are set and controlled by the retailer, not by us, and their privacy policies apply. Our affiliate disclosure explains the money side.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not share your email with anyone.
- We do not run pop-ups that ask for your email before you can read a page.
Changes
If we add an email list, analytics, or anything else that collects data, we will update this policy before it goes live and change the date at the top.
